Ju Young Kim, born in Seoul, S. Korea, learned to paint from his mother at the first. He was naturally close to paintings and art from influence of his mother who ran a painting institute, so he studied diverse paintings through puberty.

He was also interested in engineering and inventions that inspired him to study Industrial Design in S.Korea, 1998.

After he graduated from the university, he worked for a while as an intern in

a design consultant company in Seoul. However, the experience evoked him to quit it and decide study abroad, because he wanted to challenge more innovative and creative design works.

He also had a chance to abaid in US for one year as a student, and then he went on to study Masters Degree Industrial Design in London 2007, graduated in June 2009.
